The case is purple, but the pills are white. But I feel fancy.
Why are you on ABs, if you don't mind sharing?
Because of the infection-that-wasn't from last week, with my neverending head wound from France. Since it kind of opened up again, even though it wasn't infected, my doctor decided to put me on a week's course of antibiotics, just to be safe, and decided to put me on a different one than last time, to stave off resistance. VOILA! Rash from hell.
Stephanie, sadly, I think that's where I'm headed, at least that's what my arms look like already.
Amy, I hope it gets better. But it was a very memorable event in my life. I think it started on Day 3 of sulfa
erika, I'm glad the dog's dental news was not as bad as it could have been. And I hope you got the license plate number of the truck that hit you don't have too many ill effects from your fall.
Amyth, in your shoes I'd be tempted to run a bath and open a bunch of benedryl capsules into it.
erika, yikes! I'm glad you're ok.
Because I have a rash that covers my entire body.
Oh, no. That sounds miserable, as does the lingering French souvenir.
the lingering French souvenir.
OK, did anyone else go to a social disease euphemism place?
amyth, speaking from itchy experience, take 2 benadryl at bedtime (you can take 1-2 benadryl every 4-6 hours, really), claritin or zyrtec twice a day, and 10-mg pepcid twice a day.
(I, too, am allergic to sulfa drugs, although my itch advice comes from my current situation, which I am now 99% certain is an overdose-type reaction to vitamin D, although the amount I took [2,000 IU/day] is within the recommended range. All bodies are different, mine more than most, apparently.)
Oh, man, the itch when I went allergic to sulfa was horrible. It was just one spot on my shoulder, and I noticed it right away and stopped the drug ASAP (Mother's allergic to it, and when she stopped being able to handle it, she'd mentioned about a third of people will become allergic to it, so I was on the lookout that time around), but wow, it hurt, and wow, it took forever to heal.
