Regarding missing school: I don't think I'd have an issue for a super special trip (like say, you're going to Europe over a break and need extra time). But a regular vacation that could be scheduled any time? Nope. Could Joe compromise and make the trip during her next holiday? Spring Break? Or you could compromise on this trip and say she can miss 2-3 days instead of an entire week? Tough one. Hugs to you, too, Mama.

For all I fuss about KCD, I'm thankful we don't have to go through lawyers. Stephanie, I'm sorry this is such a challenge. Especially over something that should be straight forward.

Yesterday was one of my Worst Days Ever, also stupid. (it was just me going too far to get something out of my reach.)And famished, cause I couldn't eat either. it puts my usual problems in some perspective. Betsy did not lose any teeth...maybe her plaque was irritating her gums?
