Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"Dammit Jim, I'm a caregiver, not a Mythbuster."

Hee. Glad you're home safe.

Lookit this necklace, y'all. I love it but I don't like how each bead is on a separate wire. Would that just be impossible to restring?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Somebody tell me that I need to go get dressed and get to campus so that I can fill out grades on 97 scantrons.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Would that just be impossible to restring?

Depends why you have to restring it. If it breaks, for instance, you'll never have to worry about losing more than just that section of the beads, since they're all independent.

sake sake sake

yesssss

These stories make me reconsider becoming a landlord again. You'd think I'd be shy of it anyway, seeing how bad my last experience with it was.

This is true, of course. It's a long necklace at 40 inches and with the wires I'm not sure it'll do well doubling it around my neck. Also I'm leery of my hair getting caught in the wires. But I like it. I'm still thinking about it many days after I put it in my Watch list. I dunno.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Zenkitty, it would be a pain to redo - you'd have to snip all the individual wires to free the beads. Then, when restringing, you might have to put small spacer beads between the ones to retain the look. If you didn't, it would probably end up being a good deal shorter.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

WS, I'm glad you made it home safely.

Our landlord called back this morning, and I'm glad I called him last night because he said (without my asking again) that he would let us out of our lease early if we need to leave. This is a huge relief because our lease goes until May, and I was worried what we would do if we found a house we loved before then.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yay!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Zen, are you looking to restring it? I like how it looks on the wire and would leave it the way it is. As ita ! noted, if it breaks, you are likely to only need to redo the one or two sections that need fixing. Plus it's so cheap! I would buy it if I were you.

brillig

If you do restring that, Zen, you could do knots between the beads to minimize the loss if the string does break. When I string beads, I use 20-pound test fishing line.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

erika, the Biscuit had extensive dental work done recently, several teeth pulled, and he came through it fine and was much happier when it was done. Wishing your doggie good dental health.
