All is well that ends in pizza.

Brrr. Weatherbug reports that it's currently 3°F (-16°C). Damn. Andi is out at training for work. I hate to think of her driving in that.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Good driving wishes to Andi. How're you doing, Daniel?

Ginger I'm sorry about the meds making you flighty. And about Mr. Peabody's tantrum.

I'm doing much better. was able to go out and shovel the walk Saturday night.

BTW, I also started taking Zoloft after getting out of the hospital. Makes work less stressful indeed.

Speaking of hospitals. My niece Chell had to take off work today to have her broken foot operated on. The first thing she asked for once out of the O.R.?

Coffee.

Andi's class still has a half hour to go.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, Ginger, and Hil, I hope you're all feeling better soon.

We ended up going out to dinner tonight to get away from the sound of our upstairs neighbor and her two kids screaming at each other. They had already been going at it for 2 hours when we left; luckily they had stopped by the time we got home. We decided not to call the cops this time around because we just want to get a house and get the hell out of here without having to deal with them, but we did call our landlord, who of course did not call us back.

Ugh, that sucks sj. I will say as a (thankfully former) landlord, that unfortunately there isn't much a landlord can do about horribly behaving tenants. Cops are really the only ones with any authority in this situation. I'm so sorry though, I know how stressful it must be.

Nora, I just wanted to keep the landlord informed because I wanted to know what, if anything was still happening with them being evicted, and because there are several things that he still needs to fix here. So it felt like a good time to say "hey, about those lights and by the way the tenants upstairs are still assholes". Or maybe something a little nicer.

Heh. He's started eviction proceedings? That is sketchy business unless the tenant is behind on rent. Good luck!

How's house hunting going?

This is also good for you to document the conditions in which you're living in case you need to break your lease.

Nora, she is behind on rent. I think she may have lost her job.

Vortex, that as well. We're hoping he'll let us out a little early if we find a house before our lease is up.
