Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Just for a change of pace - I had a GOOD experience talking to someone in customer support. Network Solutions - he was intelligent, knew what he was doing, was helpful, apologized for only being able to take care of one of the two things I needed (they're only allowed to deal with one request per call), and to take care of the other thing, HE CALLED ME BACK.

His name was Matt.

He kept apologizing for not being able to take care of everything in one call and I kept reassuring him that it was OK.

Apparently you found the only intelligent person to ever work at Network Solutions.

I have Issues with NetSol.

{{{{{smonster}}}}} It sounds like you have had a really crappy week. I'm sorry. I hope that you're very happy in your new place and it makes up for all this hassle eventually.

I have a HUGE pot of pasta e fagioli on the stove. It smells sooo good. I hope TCG gets home soon so that we can eat.

Well my crappy week just got crappy. I've lost my keys. In one of those - I picked up my keys to run to Rite Aide, I picked them up off the key hook. Thought "I'll take out the trash" took out the trash, then ran inside for (blanking) the phone rang, talked on the phone, walked around. Hung up and realized the keys aren't in my hand and the last time I remember having them is taking them off the hook.

So now I'm trying to find my keys and my spare key and also trying not to spiral into a situation of "you are so careless and disorganized, this always happens. How someone be so irresponsible to always being losing their keys"

I figure I've wasted about a tenth of my life looking for things that I absentmindedly put down in the wrong place. Another significant percentage has been spent looking for things I put in a logical place where they'd be safe and I'd remember where they were.

askye, don't beat yourself up. We all do these things. Did you check the trash?

Did you check if you put the keys in the outside trash can? (I've done that. Twice. My rule for myself now is that I don't step off the front porch until my keys are in my pocket.)

I checked the trash can the best I can. All the trash is in bags and I felt around the bags and looked in with the flashlight but I may go and take everything out. It would be nice if there was an outside light.

I'm just feeling extra emotional because of Maddie and something that happened on Monday and then I had therapy today plus I think I'm PMSing.

So it's just a prefect emotional storm of emotions and triggers right now.
