Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

Back from the feed. The grilled turkey was lovely if the surface was overspiced. Moist but not soggy.

The deep fried turkey was slightly soggy, and I got dark meat, which is more strongly flavored than I like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thank you, erika.

Always Anti-fascist!

I really like you, ita. I just make fun of things a lot, and it doesn't always occur to me that other people don't, and free speech is one of *my* hot buttons. So I made a thing, though I didn't really plan to.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Went out to take food to the Occupy Olympia people. My respect for them greatly increased. No diminution in numbers in the face of 40 degree weather with biting cold rain driven by 30 mph winds. I was amused by the reactions to the food:

Turkey and couscous - polite appreciation. For the pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce - enthusiasm and cheers.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You are good people, Typo, bringing turkey dinner to the Occupy crowd.

I have moved on to the wine drinking, creamed spinach making portion of the day. Plus bonus bike ride! It's been a good turkey day.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Met DJ and her DH, as well as their two adorable dogs. All were delightful. It was a very nice time.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mom asks, "Is it irresponsible if we start a fire when we're going to be leaving soon?"

Um...

Apparently I inherited my lack of common sense with fire. Good to know.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Wow, I leave town without my laptop and I sure do miss a lot.

I love you all. I'm so grateful for you all, and this seems like the Buffista version of a family political discussion: but, like us, more civil, smarter, no one stumbling drunkenly away from the table (as far as we know).

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving. I'm so glad to have you all in my life.
