I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm so sorry, smonster. I wish I lived closer by so I could help do something to distract/cheer you.

Happy birthday, Ryan!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Happy birthday, Ryan! Wow, four. Very impressive.

(My youngest niece is three tomorrow. Youngest. Time is running away.)

Thoughts for you, your family and your stepmom, Trudy.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Happy birthday, Ryan! Wow, four. Very impressive.

He certainly thinks so. We gave him another present tonight, from some family friends; he looked at this big, gift-wrapped box and announced, "This is getting exciting!" Quite so, little birthday boy.

Of course, tonight we were putting him to bed and he informed us that he was ready to be five now. I explained to him that he would be four for a whole year, which would be 365 big sleeps. He pondered this, and decided, "That's so many sleeps!" He's right now getting started on it (I hope).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Could Ryan BE any cuter? No. There is no cuter that Ryan could be.Happy birthday!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I wanna go play with baby goats now. Or maybe not-at-all-a-baby Ryan. He is a remarkable boy, for sure! Happy birthday to you, sunny boy.

Some people are not pet people. Or dog people. I have maybe five dogs I've ever known that I truly liked. And that's being a pet person myself.

Totally. It's more like a reason that we weren't destined for the long haul. I can't imagine not having animals in my life, so I need a partner that does more than tolerate them. But adoring Frankie the way I do, and seeing the reaction he gets in the world, it was always a bit odd to me.

Oh suckage, Smonster! I hate when my spider sense is right, because it makes it that much harder to ignore (and me more paranoid) the next time.

Yup.

I'm listening to my breakup mix from StW, which has sad sack songs and bitter songs and hopeful songs. Yay that I can recycle even a breakup mix.

I have a chiro appt at 9:30 (made yesterday pre-dumping) and am working on my to-do list. It has four categories; home, finances, fundraiser, and self-care. Hoping to strike a balance there. I have a couple of local friends who aren't working today, so I'll have RLcompany if I want it.

Thanks for all the support. I think we'll end up friends. He's good at being friends with exes.

I'm sorry, smonster. I'm glad you're taking good care of you.

"This is getting exciting!"

That is adorable. Happy Birthday, Ryan!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, Ryan! Ryan stories are always so wonderful to wake up to.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Dream last night included a press release:

"Hindsight is 20/20, but in the face of this great tragedy, Sideslab Development Inc. believes in looking forward, not back. In retrospect, building LavaView Estates on the rim of an active volcano may have been an error, but nobody could have anticipated ...."

Bizarre how dream life in no way echoes anything in the real world.

Typo, is it possible that your subconscious mind absorbed the collective snark of Bitches and it manifested in this dream?
