Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ah, Nora, my love. I'm so sorry.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I knew lea was old(er) English for meadow, but--

"Hi, I'm Beaver meadow, have we met?" Bucolic. Sorta like me.

I'm sorry, (((Nora))), and anyone else shellshocked by today's news. I'm dealing by being frivolous and avoidy, and sneaking up on print news when I can handle it. I don't mean to make light of the situation, or anyone else's feelings about it.

It's a good thing I have a DVR because all TV is pre-empted here, and I have reached my limit of disaster coverage for the night.

We are probably going to stream Netflix--an Attenborough, a cozy Brit mystery. Like I said, avoidy.

Is TV preempted in the rest of the country too?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Nora, darlin', that sounds like the best thing for you to do right now.

What kind were they?

The cupcakes? Gigi's cupcakes. They do gluten free, so it seemed like a good place to start. We tried the "wedding cake" flavor -- white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting -- and 2 chocolate ones (midnight magic -- devil's food cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and chocolate chips -- and white midnight magic -- dark chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate chips).

All good. The amount of frosting on their cupcakes is ridonkulous (and I say that as someone who loves frosting fervently), but they can frost them less for custom orders.

Honestly, I haven't even turned it on. If the cable doesn't work, as you say, we have dvds.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My original name - the birth one - means "beloved addition grass grower".

There is no meaning found for my adopted surname.

My married name makes me the "beloved addition [of the] little wolf hound."

Which is totally cute.
