I can't tell, but I don't really drink soda very often. If there are multiple drinks with some regular and some diet I think the diet is darker.

I can usually tell the difference between regular and diet soda because I hate the taste of sugar substitute. I was at a restaurant this afternoon and the customer next to me was hoping there was a diet soda without caffeine, and the waitress tried to convince her that coke zero didn't have caffeine. The woman couldn't have any caffeine for medical reasons. Luckily her daughter was there and she quickly corrected the waitress.

And when I order diet Coke without lemon, it always shows up with lemon. I enjoy plucking the lemon off, dropping it on the table, and having the waitress go "Oh, you didn't want lemon, did you." "No, I didn't."

They have fucked up the soda lines in most restaurants I go to that it isn't clear what the soda is I'm drinking. If it comes out of a bottle, there is a really clear difference between diet coke, coke zero, and regular coke. when there is an inattentiveness to syrup lines in a restaurant, the shit is all mixed together.

Ugh. Stopped to follow a friend home, was a little worried that she'd had a few glasses if wine. so glad I stopped, because her car got broken into, her wallet and work laptop were taken and she fell apart. Sitting in her apartment waiting for the police. I'm exhausted, but I don't want to leave her.

As someone who just went through that last year, I can tell you for a fact that you are a great friend and she's going to appreciate that for a long, long time.

I can smell the difference in diet Coke! I don't drink soda often, and the only drink to which I add sugar --never sweetener of any kind -- is some types of hot tea, with cream, very occasionally.

My latest adventures in dieting allows for no caffeine, no fake sweeteners, no alcohol. So it is fizzy water or herbal tea all the time. It took a couple weeks to get over my 2 large pots of coffee a day habit, but I like water so it is ok.

Okay, I am having big complicated feels about changing my name (or keeping it) after I get hitched. This is fucking HARD for me. Really, really, really, really, REALLY hard.
