You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

On his black belt, Beverly? I will pass that along. He is off at training on technical rescues (rock safety). Thankfully KCD took him and is bringing him home. I'm all Vicodined up. I don't know why these cramps are knocking me on my ass more than regular monthly cramps - but damn.

I still have my wedding china in its original box. At first we were saving it for a special occasion. Then it got buried in our various garages over time. I'm not sure I even remember what it looks like - I think it is a cream china with a black border and a gold rim. I think. I should check it out and sell the set. My day to day stuff is a nice white set I got from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I think only one bowl has chipped over the last 4 years.

Well, you had a lot going on in your parts. So everything is going "What? Holy shit! What? Is this PLASTIC?"

They ought to subside by tomorrow. In the meantime, hooray for Vicodin!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well, you had a lot going on in your parts.

I misread that. Go ahead. Guess what I thought it said.

And Toddson, I'm glad work is more gratifying even if your family are not so much.

Andi, it kinda works that way too. I just feel bad cause CJ has training tonight and I don't trust myself to drive on the Vicodin. KCD drove him there but as far as I know he doesn't have a ride home. I'm sure something will work out. Somehow.

I'm trying not to sleep cause I want to be able to sleep tonight.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

WHAT.

I know! It's ridiculous. I swear, we let these guys do whatever they want. They're like feral journals.

I have to accept I don't really have a family any more.

Sure you do. We're right here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Here you go, Toddson:

Stitch: This is my family. I found it, all on my own. Is little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.

This often comes in useful. They should just print it directly onto Post Its so the reminder can be placed wherever it's most required.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Except we're a pretty big family. For which we've probably all been grateful for a time or ten. Certainly I have been.
