I just talked to Mom. She's still feeling pretty awful today. They had her on morphine yesterday, which explains how loopy she was on the phone. She still sounds hesitant to get the surgery, but I really wish she would change her mind. I hate to see her continually going through this.

I've been there and back again. I'm part of the Mirena sisterhood now. But dang. First with the speculum and the prob to sound out my uterus, then out with all that and in with the ultrasound, then back again with the speculum and the actual insertion, and oh, might as well check with the ultrasound again. To say I feel crampy and like I'd love to curl up in bed until my eye appointment would be an understatement. I have a Vicodin in my pocket and I'm not afraid to use it.
