Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

There's a time-management idea about writing down things as they occur to you, so you can get them out of your head and then review them later and I guess order them in terms of timeliness, or however you get shit done.

My brain is a ridiculous whirlwind of about 50 work-related things and 100 wedding-related things, and then stuff like, oh, clean the bathroom before the Board of Health nukes the house from orbit.

So I'm trying to write things down so I can prioritize them later, only as soon as I write down one thing, three more things come to mind. My to-do list is a hydra. No, it's made of Tribbles!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell, how old were you and your DH when you met?

I was 30, he was 20.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I find making lists really decreases my stress level. When I calm myself down enough to stop and make a list, that is.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Making lists stresses me out, because instead of a vague unsettling feeling that I have Too Much To Do, a list gives me concrete knowledge that I have too much to do.

Bingo. My list is fucking hilarious. And I just thought of one more thing to add to it.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

This. As I remember the same thing over and over, it's a new "gotta remember that!" each time. If I write it down, it's safely remembered and my brain can chill the heck out - at least until the next new thing pops in.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, quiet thread.

My head has been pounding all day, but now, at (early) bedtime, I realize that I missed taking my pills last night, so I'm wondering if it's from missing a dose of AD.

Somewhat relatedly, my in-laws arrive tomorrow to help pack.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yay?
