Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, I was coming in to say that there was just a stream of people going by and now I am stalking their origin to see if that means the new plane is here and we can has it.

Breaking News - we're keeping the busted plane but stealing a part from the plane just just arrived. Apparently this plane needs inspection in Portland overnight. It means an additional ten or twenty minutes but I can't fault them for safety over a few minutes longer.

I am saving my cranky for my sister who texted at six a.m.

Starting to board. Whoot! Thanks for keeping me company.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yay, Cass! Safe travels.

Can't sleep. Feh. I'm going to be uselesser at work tomorrow than I was today, but at least I get to take out some angst scraping up asbestos floor tile (in full PPE, of course).

brillig

I'm imagining a crew of mechanics lurking in the shadows of the gate, waiting for the crew for the arriving plane to just turn their backs for a moment while the first crew makes their raid.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm glad you're finally boarding, Cass.

Yay Cass! I would be insane by now were I you.

I had dinner with a friend who I would've used to describe as my local BFF. But lately she's not been and it's sad--because she's in a relationship. I did point out to her tonight that I hadn't seen her in almost two months, and she acknowledged she'd been hiding in the relationship- ness. (her gf was with us and said so too--I have no problem hanging with both of them!). So we caught up and made plans to get together this weekend. Yay.

A propos of nothing, there are times I really wished I lived closer to more of y'all.

Yes. I want a magic transporter beam damnit. I want to hang with my Texas, Toronto, and Columbus friends more often!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I hate it when it's like that. I have a local BFF, but we used to work together and see each other every day in the trenches. But then she quit and my corp stopped working with that corp anyway. So now we're all, let's get together! Awesome! And we do, and we really enjoy each other's company. And then we don't get together for another three months. It's crazymaking.

But anyway, this Saturday we're going hiking, and it's a trail I've been wanting to do. So that's should be really fun. But then I'll leave town for six weeks. Being friends is hard!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell, I think you want the lipstick version of Sally Hansen Oriental Red.

My problem with red lipsticks is that I'm not very good at telling which ones will go hot pink on me versus which one will go orange, plus having no clue as to why.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Lip faeries?

That is exactly how I imagined it happening too.

I would be insane by now were I you.

Mostly it helped that we had Captain Overshare who explained everything in detail - and about every ten minutes - until they knew how long the delay was going to be.

I was chill throughout the whole thing until the bus to my car was a clusterfuck. That was easily the worst part of the day. Luckily that ended with me and my iPod blaring so I could sing my way home.

So ready for bed now.
