Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm tipsy too, and I'm 99.9% sure I'm moving to PA.

That was my third choice! After you moving to Rome or Paris.

I have food poisoning.

Ugh! The worst. Get better.

Hope you're getting some pain-ease too, Typo.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh no Liese, I'm sorry to hear you've been sick. Much ~ma to you.

Oh and PC, congratulations to your brother and SiL!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I'm annoyed because it happened at "our" coffee shop, where the SO teaches out of, so I'm there more or less constantly. Declining to eat there from now on's going to be a little awkward.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Go, Maria! I'm excited about your move to PA. It sounds exactly like what you need to do for you.

Tummy~ma to sj and Liese. I have chicken soup, if it would help any.

P-C! I saw the pictures of your brother's wedding on FB. What a gorgeous family you have. You all looked quite dashing. And your brother and his wife are going to love living in Madison. It has just about everything. Not necessarily a LOT of everything, but something for everyone. If he's got questions about stuff that he can't find out easily, feel free to give him my e-mail address; I'll do my best to help.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's great, Maria! I hope the move goes smoothly for you.

Thrive to spite them

Maria I think it's awesome that you are moving and I hope that this just opens up many, many positive and happy changes in your life.

And I second what Kate said!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

You all are making me cry. Thank you. I realized last night that the only thing I'd miss about Frederick is my trainer and gym. Localistas arean hour away in any direction and requires coordination. My neighbors are great, but they are married and have kids. That's not my life anymore.

sj, I hope you're feeling better. Liese, I hope you feel better soon.

brillig

Maria my response to the "run home to mom and dad" thing would probably be "And that's a bad thing?" Major upheavals kind of demand the proxmity of loved ones.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

If he's got questions about stuff that he can't find out easily, feel free to give him my e-mail address; I'll do my best to help.

I will be sending out an e-mail in a couple months before they move up (in June, likely). They know NOBODY in Madison, so any help is appreciated. I'm hoping someone can host a welcome game night/dinner or something.

Poor sick Buffistas! I hope you get well soon.
