So uncool!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jilli and other Goths. If you were in NY for only one day, and most of that day was pre-scheduled so you could only visit one Goth type place, would it be Goth Ren Shop? Or what? A shop, a museum a historical site or whatever... One place only, and it must have *strong* Goth appeal.
Considering I'd never heard of the Goth Ren Shop, I wouldn't go there. Hmmm. Maybe MOMA? Or Trash and Vaudville, which is one of THE classic alternative shops.
The only time I was in NYC, we made sure to hit the Museum of Natural History (dinosaurs!), Alice's Tea Cup for afternoon tea, and Jekyll and Hyde, which Pete described as "Chuck E. Cheese for horror fans". (It was kind of silly, but I still had fun.)
The next time we're in NYC, if there's time, I definitely want to go to Trash and Vaudville.

You haven't been able to keep solid foods down for...how long now? Yes, I'm sure weight loss is absolutely number one on sj's list of concerns right now, Incredibly Tone Deaf and Insensitive Cousin of sj!

Thank you! Buffistas continue to rock.
20 fucking years! It was 1993, I was 20, knew NO ONE, had never flown on a plane before. But it was great! I met one of my BFFs there; she lives in town; my roommate, who is a go-go dancer will be there. All the closeted people are out (although Kel and I correctly had our gaydar buzzing in 93)and proud and tomorrow we hit the gay bars for dancing!
this is awesome, Strix! My friends and I who lived in London 20 years ago next year are trying to to a reunion as well. I'm also amused by the closeted commen. My BFF and I joke that we are the only ones who came back to the States sleeping with the same gender as when we left.
My cousins are assholes, too. What's up with that?
