No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

The shoes Trudy linked to with a street sole would be AWESOME.

Well sure, if you want to be comfy! [insert winking emoticon here] Those would be a great option, of course.

The pendant idea is great!

If Scrappy got hired at the Hustler Store chain there's a great chance she'd travel to Cincinnati. Which would make it ALL worthwhile.

Or was that Playboy?

Playboy. And Rio worked there too.

The stripper part is odd, but given that the city's largest tax payer is our local Deja Vu, she's not dumb to branch out that way.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So when your hairdresser doesn't do the color you want you just tell him and go back and get it fixed, right?

This is my dude for years and I loooove him. We've never had this happen before and I am at a loss. We were rushed as I was leaving so it wasn't all the way dry. It looked good and I tipped him his usual pretty big tip. Now that I see it in sunlight I think it's pretty but not what I wanted. How does this work money-wise?

It looks nice so I'm not walking around looking bad, but I don't want to cough up a fair chunk of cash and not have what I want. And yes, as usual, I'm fretting about the money.

I brought a picture. That color is IN my hair, but not enough of my hair if that makes sense. He did two different foils. When they came off I wanted more of the dark color and less of the light. He put in some toner. Its more of the dark color now, but I feel like there is too much of MY color still so the change is not the dramatic one I was going for.

If you're not happy, go back and talk to him about it, especially if you're a regular. He wants you to be happy with your hair.

Be warned, though, that fixing color is tricky. I had a color issue with a new colorist in CT (my hair turned out clown red). She fixed it and I really liked the new color, but 6 months later, a bunch of it broke off. Just my cautionary tale.

Thanks.

Yeah, my hair is pretty fine so that's definitely a fear.

I really didn't have much choice in the fixing, but if you just don't like it, you should still let him know. Maybe go in so that he can see what you don't like about it, so that it doesn't happen again.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

YOU GUYS. I AM HILARIOUS.

Here, in case anyone forgot, is my wedding dress: [link]

Here is my damn PROM DRESS from 24 goddamn years ago: [link]

So, I have a type, it seems. And it hasn't changed much in a quarter of a century.

(The Prom picture is even cooler, because those 2 gentlemen on either side of me, who I have cropped out for privacy reasons, were my English teacher and my Algebra teacher. NO ONE IS AS COOL AS ME.)
