You might call the development office (fundraising) and see if you can get off all lists. They usually have stealth lists that you have to get off even after all others.
Oh, I'll try that! Thanks! You're full of the good ideas today.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

They had to inject dye for an intensive eye exam, so now I look like a yellow eyed demon.
I loves me some gluten (yum!) but have noticed since i started actively tracking calories that wheat products are deceptively high in calories. I'm sure that's why it's such a staple in so many cultures (here! calories! don't starve!) but it was a revelation to me.
Inject dye....in your EYE?? Eek.
My body is much happier on a low(er) carb diet, with fewer grains and more lean meat. But my brain is much happier with carbs, so that never lasts long.
No injected in the arm, so that it would reach the eye and let them see things better. But the results are that I am going to need stuff injected in my eye in April, May and June. That way I probably will not need laser surgery. I will take injections in my eye over laser beams searing my eye.
oh god damn, Typo. That just gave me the willies.

I honestly don't know where I'd go on that. Too many pulp magazine covers are tending me towards lasers in the hands of hopefully competent surgeons.
I have a friend that had a lot of laser eye surgeries. ( diabetes related) I would avoid it if possible.
It didn't hurt , but it would leave him pretty shaken .
It took me awhile to figure out how to eat. And eat less carbs. Many days I am in the 40-50% range. I'm happy with that - because. The average American diet is 60-75%. There are things that aren't really explained- beans are a combo food, high in protein and high in carbohydrates.
Today is all carbohydrates, because I am way short on sleep
fitday was a good Web site I use to track carbs. they have all kinds of bullshit on the site, but I just use it for food tracking.
Sooo, I got called into a meeting with the GM, my Dept Head, Regional Manager, and Corporate HR (you know where this is going, don't you?) Corporate had already told us that they're "transitioning" about 2/3 of our work to Poland at the end of 2014, but they weren't completely sure about a few departments (who would stay, who would go - again, you see where this is going). So yeah, my job is one to be eliminated (looks like just mine - documentation - the rest of the department seems to be staying). Blah, blah, it's not you, it's the job (though it's not entirely blah, blah, as I'm being bribed with extra incentives to stick around until The End). So, in about 2 years I'm being laid off. At which time I will have been with the company about 10 years. Even though I was halfway expecting it, it's still a bit of a blow (though I know, two years in which to plan, etc.)
I'll be okay, I'm just feeling a little Abed - "I need help reacting to something."
