Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Do you think you'll be indoors or outdoors?

If you're outdoors fans are nice favors. I think most favors are pretty goofy, but fans are practical and pleasant.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I seriously am not going to DIY anything other than those mason jar/photo things.

Okay, maybe my bouquet. For reals. [link] (That is something where I will DEFINITELY do a practice run or three LONG before the wedding, so that if I suck at it, I can hire a florist.)

brillig

And I'll learn to smelt so that I can make Tim's ring!

Only if you then inscribe the ring with "One ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them". Or bind him. It goes with the knot theme.

Definitely outdoors for the ceremony (because of the size of the B&B and the size of the guest list). Undecided on indoors vs outdoors for dinner. (There is a large patio, but if we have the ceremony on the patio, I need to check with the B&B manager to see if they have people who will quickly set up tables and such for dinner. Even for only 6 or 7 tables, that seems like too much to do quickly, what with needing to put down linens and 50 place settings, and all my DIY blown-glass favors.)

Tim still has his wedding ring from his first marriage, and he dug it out today so he can trade it in at the jeweler. I took it to look at it and was peering at the inside, and he asked "What are you looking for?"

"I'm checking to see if we need to take this to Mordor. Because that would suck, since I do not know the way."

To his credit, he didn't thwap me over the head.

Could people be having cocktails indoors while you are taking pictures and the staff sets up tables?

Possibly. That's on my list of things to ask the manager. Now that we've booked the B&B, we get to go up there and have dinner to pick our menu. So I'll be able to ask my list of questions.

Thrive to spite them

Val's wedding and reception were held in the same space, but I can't remember what people did while it was being re set.

Niceeeeee

Just make sure someone is assigned to bring you a cocktail. It'll only take 'em a minute, "The bride needs a drink" gets you right to the front of the line :)

You know, I'm re-thinking that nautical theme... [link]
