Buffy: How bored were you last year? Giles: I watched 'Passions' with Spike. Let us never speak of it.

'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aw. I also forget she's not a puppy. They are quick learners, and she'll figure it out soon.

Always Anti-fascist!

My mom's rat terrier wanted "Good-girl" props for about year after she was housebroken. She'd get disappointed if you forgot.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I used to love dogs, but the disgusting people who live in my area and NEVER pick up after their dogs has really turned me off of them. I realize I'm going to have two sons and realistically they are going to want a dog and we will probably give in at some point, but right now? NO DOGS! I'm pretty iffy on the cats at the moment, too. #crankymama

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hey, I'm a guy, and I prefer cats. Just saying. Not a total gender thing... (Although, NoiseDesign has said in the past, sometimes I am like a 14 year old girl, or something like that...so... not exactly Mr. Masculine).

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm not sure what to do. I'm sure she has to poop again, because she ate a few hours ago, but she's half-asleep in her playpen and won't come out. I'm worried that, if she doesn't do it now, then she'll poop in the middle of the night again, but I don't know how to make her do it now if she doesn't want to.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Personally, I would pick her up and she would go outside whether she was interested or not, but I am only dog-adjacent, not an owner.

If possible, and when you have time, you probably want to try to get on a schedule. My parents' dog goes out in the morning and then gets fed. She goes out in the afternoon and then gets fed. (And goes out as necessary during the day.) She knows the schedule as well as anyone, and will sometimes try to con people into believing that it's time for her to eat, since she just went outside.

She doesn't really associate "outside" with "bathroom" yet. When I've tried that earlier today, she just watched some cars for a while until she was shivering so badly that I brought her inside. I tried putting her on a pee pad, but nothing happened.

I think that sounds right. If she doesn't go, then right when you come back in is the time to watch her closely and snatch her back up if she starts to squat or circle.
