Frakking double posts.
So, I'm thinking of giving up hitting the snooze button for Lent.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Maybe Tim could wear the dress and Steph wear the tux?
Nah, I'm totally wearing the dress.
Okay, he is currently looking at wedding dresses online.
For you or him?
$50 and a batarang says it was for him.
Oh, hell yes it was for him. I laughed and laughed and laughed.
I keep looking at "[Teppy RealName] got engaged" at the top right of my fb page and doing a grinning little chair dance. Love the ring, btw! Am also a huge fan of sapphires over diamonds.
I love the ring, too. A LOT. He can have...dubious taste (to put it kindly) (no, really, the man has a Pepe Jeans hoodie from Goodwill that he wears ALL THE TIME, not ironically, and it's not when he's cross-dressed), so I idly wondered what he might pick out.* But it suits me SO well, I am so touched.
*(I also wondered if he would give me his mother's rings -- and I asked him about that last night -- but he said that he wants one of the grandkids to have them. And I am totally on board with that. Having his mother's rings would be an honor, but it would also feel like a lot to live up to.)
But it suits me SO well, I am so touched.
That is so wonderful. He is such a good one.
Congrats, Teppy and Tim!
askye,I hope the endocrinologist can get you sorted. quickly.
I know I already congratulated Teppy & Tim all over the place, but I'm going to do it again! Because it needs more! Happy stuff can be repeated!
Good luck with the endo, askye.
sj, that is totally nuts! I wholly endorse a vegan lifestyle, but it certainly isn't for most people, and it is by no means the only healthy nutritional choice. You know what is best for you. I was vegetarian when I was pregnant and my doctor did have me take iron.

The thing is, I'm already taking iron daily, and my iron is still ridiculously low. The iron in red meat is still more bio-available than the supplement, so I really do need to get a hamburger or a steak every week or so. I'm going to see the hematologist next week, and he may decide to put me on some iron infusions just to get me back to maintenance levels.

I take a natural supplement with a high bio-availability that helps (I'm on a semi-veggie diet and have long-term problems with anaemia) - this is the US version of it.
