Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Note to self: sore sternum for me means the next day half of my ribs will be tweaked out of place. My chiropractor is my hero today. Breathing is amazingly wonderful. I want to hug everyone, but that might disrupt my heating pad so I'll type gently.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The nutritionist was really not for me she was very big on the vegan thing and told me she didn't think I should have red meat once a week, even with my low iron. I should cut out pasta entirely, which isn't going to happen. And she kept lamenting the loss of some Chinese herb which is no longer sold here because some people died taking it. However, since I am seeing her for my insurance, I'll track what I eat for a month and go back to see her one more time.

Thrive to spite them

I heard back from my GP - the thyroid test she reran showed results in the normal range and the test she ran for the first time showed low results. This worried her since it was barely a week between the two tests. So she's referring me to an endocrinologist for an evaluation.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Congratulations, Tep and Tim! That's fantastic news!

Wow, no kidding, sj. That's like telling me I should live a celery-based life. Hopefully it'll be one more meeting and then done.

I hope the referral gives you some answers, askye.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Steph! Congratulations to you and Tim!
