Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

Today has been sort of productive - I went to the grocery store and bought some things including 2 whole chickens (on sale!) one is waiting for the crock pot the other is in my freezer. Which is really really fully. I think I can stop stocking up on stuff for awhile.

Also got bubble wrap to insulate the windows and went to Jo Ann's and got one of those new sew fleece blankets. I'm not making a blanket, I'm using those for window coverings. I discovered one of the two energy efficient windows is damaged somehow, it's not sitting right so when the wind blows (and it was really blowing earlier today) it blows right through the window.

I know there's plastic wrap you can put over the windows, I had a ton of trouble with those last year - the windows don't have nice flat surface to put the tape on so I just gave up on trying to deal with them.

And I put almost every book I have in my possession on Goodreads. Which is really more cat vacuuming than productive, but it felt kind of productive. Now I need to finish washing dishes.

askye, that sounds like a good day. Go you!

After starting my week out last week with yoga, everything went to hell quickly. I ended up a ball of anxiety and couldn't leave the house at all. I finally got out today, with TCG, to go food shopping, which was desperately needed, and now I have a pumpkin lasagna in the oven. We found out it was restaurant week in Providence, so we're going out for yummy Italian food tomorrow night, and then hopefully I will be able to get out of the house by myself this week.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I took a nap.

Did I miss anything?

Remember that thing where you moved to Michigan?

It wasn't a dream.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Miracleman!! How the hell are ya?

I'm in Michigan, apparently.

...alcohol *may* have been a factor.

Hi, Miracleman! Your sarcasm has been missed here.

Pumpkin lasagna came out yummy, though I need to use less sauce next time.
