Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Wow, venting helped! Right after posting that, I kicked myself in the butt and got some stuff done. I scooped the cat boxes and the back yard, started a load of laundry, took out the trash and recycling, made myself a snack, emptied the dishwasher, cleaned out the sink, and brewed some iced tea. Progress.

Our wings are not tired.

Well done!

I have been massively unproductive today, but have no plan for changing that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Good for you, Pix. I am in the same headspace, waiting for the SO to get home from recording sessions. Plus sick, so the house needs more cleaned than usual, and I've been eating junk, so resulting lack of energy should be unsurprising.

But I ate much much better today so far. I did nap while my sound files were running off because I lay down to read and the Biscuit got in bed with me, climbed on top of me and promptly fell asleep. So I had no choice! But I'm getting back up now. We'll see how it goes.

I'm sitting backstage in a theatre recording the filming of a live show. I've got 20 channels mixing live and tracking into Pro Tools.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Go Pix!

I have set up my memorial altar, done some laundry, and had lunch. Next I clean the bathroom, then hop on the exercise bike. But first, MOAR COFFEE.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm fixing up my resume and making plans to start sending it out.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ok. Just met cleaning guy my neighbor uses. He's been the cleaning guy for my neighbor for 17 years! And now, he's my cleaning guy. $65 per cleaning. I'm doing once a month. First time will be on the 30th.

To prep for the meeting, I did a ton of dishes, and tidied the kitchen. Swept the bedroom floor, since it still had saw dust from the closets ordeal. Put away a load of laundry. Made bed. Unpacked another box. Pretty productive, for me! Now I'm pooped, and I realize, golly, I haven't eaten all day. So, taking a break to eat and gather spoons.

Oh, called mom to see if she was free (i.e. is Will there). He is down for the weekend, and helping her go through and get rid of more of her clutter. I thought it best not do over the phone, and certainly not with him around. So the big talk is postponed. Uggg.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I still haven't heard back from the dog rescue place about my application. They said it would be two to three days, and it's been two days so far. I'm not so good at waiting.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Omnis, I'm sorry you had to postpone the talk with your mom. It's tough to know you've got to do a stressful, unpleasant thing, and to not be able to just get it over with.

Hil, I hope you hear about the dog soon. Good luck!

This is so exciting because she gave birth to her first child (a boy who is doing great now) when she was only 20 weeks pregnant.

I can't even imagine! I thought 24 weeks was the very earliest a baby could survive outside the womb, but I guess there are always exceptions. Anyway, that is amazing that baby#1 is doing great, and baby#2 is almost here!

Pix, thank you and I miss you and love you. Also, you free Tuesday or Wednesday next week?

Went to a place a couple hours north of here today with roomie and a friend of hers who was visiting from Australia. We saw bald eagles!! I'm really hoping some of the pictures I took come out well. And then I met up with a good friend who just also got dumped and we commiserated a lot, and ita least feel that love.

Tomorrow, dim sum and some relaxing, I think. Am a little worried that one eye seems redder than it was,but hoping that's a paranoia and not reality.

And in best news, the car alarm car is still there and the alarm flashing, but maybe ran out of battery or something, as its not making noise!!!! Yay!!!
