I emailed the landlord about getting a dog. Now I'm all nervous that she'll say no.
And I'm looking at photos of the dogs at the local shelter. There's a litter of chihuahua mix puppies that are just adorable.
This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

oh cute and fuzzy! But puppies are a huge demand on your time. And they almost always get adopted. If you get a dog a year old or older you are almost always saving their life.
