You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Good luck, Aims and Joe. My brother liked the e-cigs.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck, Aims.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Good luck to both of you Miracleborns. That's a tough one, but soooo worth it once you get past the worst.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who was the celebrity I saw advertising the e-cigs? I thought it was really weird--it seemed to be pitching them as cool, as opposed to a quitting tool, and it's always odd to see proper advertising for something that's plaguing my spam folder.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My boss just called me "m'dear". Is that better or worse than when she calls me "lady"?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Go you, Aimee, for quitting!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Who was the celebrity I saw advertising the e-cigs?

Stephen Dorff. Which, okay, but I don't think of him as particularly cool or bad-ass.

Go Aimee & Joe with the quitting!!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My sweet Taz had a tooth cleaning (and unexpected extraction) today and is doped all up, poor thing. I put him in our downstairs bathroom with the lights off and with a litterbox and some food. I hope he's OK.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww, poor Taz. Biscuit had teeth out, but he was much happier afterwards.

The status is NOT quo.

Dammit 2013. Just found out that one of my colleagues, a beloved photo teacher who Drew and I both adored, passed away from complications related to lung cancer yesterday. My school is going to be in deep mourning next week. I'm very sad.

Those of you who were at our wedding reception might have met him--older African American man who we hired to take pictures as well as be our guest. Harris was an amazing person, teacher, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
