Wish me luck. I'm mixing a show for the next few days. I don't often spend time behind the console anymore, so it's a nice change, but also a little stressful being in the hot seat again. First show starts in about 3 minutes.

ION- Thank you student for making the labels to put on the cables. It is a very time consuming job. However, why didn't you use the avery label template? Why did you make your own template? You realize, your template is not a template, as, the labels do not line up. No love. Me.
I have had to block more people on Facebook since the Connecticut shooting than I had to during the election. Just when you think people couldn't get any crazier.

I left work at four, returned the rental, picked up my car, bought pet food, picked up my prescriptions... and now I'm home and have eaten and need to pack. I think I'm going to need caffeine and music for this part.
I'm about halfway through re-typing these dang-on labels. Fixing errors as I go. Hopefully finding all of them. Brain really fighting me. "Hey, you are the only one left on campus. go home!". One more page, and then I'm heading home.
I have baked all the cookies and now I've cleaned all the things. My snow vacation is at an end. Back to the grind again, tomorrow.

The afternoon show went decently. We have another performance in about 40 minutes.
In other work news I just got called about an RFP for a project in China that I would really like to get. Of course the bids are due on January 7th so there goes at least part of my holiday time. Still it's a project I'd really like to work on, and I'd love to work in China.

I am doing dishes, putting things away, and gathering things to be packed. Ten minutes at a time, baby. The timer is my friend. Hoping to be in bed by 11 pm, but that's probably overly optimistic.
