Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Sister is at LINCOLN movie. When it ends, I pick her up, and we go to George Greek Cafe. Nom Nom!

ION- sister got me early xmas gift. Mint+ robot sweeper. Pretty cool. It killed a lot of dust bunnies under the bed. Not the most logical of patterns. Kinda wish it was remote control to program in a cleaning pattern. Aside from that, the only complaints so far, it's rather pushy with things in it's way. Shoes, digierdo, chairs. The other thing, it senses the transition t-strip between the hardwood and tile as a stair or something, so, it's basically a barrier for it. Either way, it swept up the living room and bedroom. Much easier than me with the swiffer. And pretty dang quiet.

Lots of car ~ma to you, smonster.

Good to see your pixels, Strix. Also, FYI, I didn't get that job. Which had NOTHING to do with your fabulous resume-writing skillz and much to do with, I'm now realizing, the fact that pretty much everyone I've ever known, come into contact with, or breathed the same air as applied for it, too. HOLEE SHIT. And they still haven't hired anyone, I don't think. But I did hear of one person who got a phone interview, and I didn't. Whatever.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

FYI, I didn't get that job.

There was a job you applied for?!?! Dammit, so much to catch on.

I pretty much always want feta.

amyth, that sucks donkey balls. Euch. Well, you had excellent qualifications for it; now you know it was one of those 200-apps-for-a uni-job things. Which I ran into ALL THE TIME in academics. CRAY!

I am doing better now; I had crazy horrid depresso for 3 weeks, but now I'm getting out of it. Which is yay.

I pretty much always want feta.

JZ pretty much always gets feta. And spinach and olives.

smonster, you know how when a really good recycling job opens up in NC, everyone who has ever touched a recycling bin in a 50-mile radius applies for it? It was like that. Except I didn't really realize it until we all got in a room together and started talking, and I realized that every. human. in. the. room. applied for the job. Or nearly. I'll give you specifics with names when I see you, but of course you know all the players.

What's hilarious is that some people with, like, two years under their belt applied for it, and this is a job at BJ's level. Some people dream really big, which is nice.

RIGHT. Yes.

I want to see BJ, maybe she can come to lunch with us? Or is she out of town?

I think she'll be out of town the 27th-28th, but I can't remember. I'll check tomorrow.

Heh....I was so depressed I didn't drink coffee for two weeks.

And I read 3 books. ONLY 3.

Or get on the internet. Or (TMI?) shower more than once a week, and it was an exercise in self-will.

It was SO FUN!

(So NOT.)
