Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

VERY good to hear about the red blood cells, Ginger. MUCH love to you.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The side effects weren't too bad, except when I had to put my feet on the ground. I wanted a floaty chair like Rygel's.

It is hard for me to sit down and write about all this. I don't like to talk about myself. I like to snark, tell stories and explain things. I don't know how the Munchausen by Internet people pull it off. I suppose they thrive on attention. I don't.

Ginger, I'm very glad to hear your good news, and hoping that you can find a better drug regimen soon.

omnis, good on you for moving forward with the matchmaking! It's tough to put yourself out there. I hope the effort bears fruit.

smonster, sounds like a busy but fun weekend. How is D doing?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

SO much love and ~ma for you, Ginger. Very good to see you.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good: I have a bigger closet and a built in bookshelf!

Bad: My glasses broke on my way home too.

Good: I decided not to get a tablet today, so I can afford new glasses.

Bad: Staples still hasn't done a thing with my computer. They're waiting to hear if Samsung is going to honor my warranty.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Good to hear from you, Ginger, and yay for the good news!

I do hope they figure out how to manage the side-effects, though.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

If you are buying wine for someone whose taste you don't know well (other than the fact that they do like whiskey, wine and beer) what you buy for them at Trader Joe's? I don't think there is actually a wine at TJs that is over budget for this particular gift, so the question is just what is high quality and likely to appeal to a variety of tastes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I really like bringing a good Shiraz. Most are happy with that.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've gotten some nice old vine cabernet sauvignons at TJs.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Who has two thumbs and created a big ole hot mess of angst and confrontation with her mother in law two weeks before Christmas over a fucking veggie tray?

THIS GIRL!!!
