Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm sorry it's so hard, Ginger, but I'm so happy to hear your markers are down to normal. Can they switch your AD to one that doesn't interact with tamoxifen?

I've left a message with my counselor about it. I'm not sure there are chemicals capable of dealing with my current mental state.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The problem is that whatever decision I make about treatment, I feel like I should have done something different.

I think that is really human. We are put in impossible situations and however we react, we wonder if we should have done something different.

I am really glad there is good too.

*sob* diphenhydramine, reduce the effectiveness

That's just cruel.

I hope the counselor has something. Virtual hugs seems like not enough.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thanks for the update, Ginger. I know it can't be easy to do and I appreciate it a lot.

Ginger, thanks for the update. Continued ~ma! Glad your red blood cells are back and playing nice.

IOmeN- went to the interview for the dinner for 6 folks. OK, so. It's nothing like a speed date service. Or Match/OKcupid. It's more of a matchmaker service. They have several different tiers of service. All *WAY* over priced. But after an hour long interview, rather than a 12 month membership for a months salary, she asked what was I thinking it would cost. I said, I figured it was a bit more involved than speed dating, and figured there would be some labor involved to find 6 like minded matches, so, a couple hundred?? She appreciated that I took into account that it would involve legwork, and time, and not value it at $50 or so. She offered a price for a 3 month "trial membership" at a greatly reduced price, that I can not say the price. Yup, NDA on the price. Took me for a surprise. She explained, they have unlisted pricings for folks they don't anticipate being high maitenance. And don't want the reduced price disclosed to potential clients that want a "5'4" Australian that lives within 5 miles of my house" type of picky, that would require a lot more legwork. I will say, the price wasn't unreasonable. 3 months, 2 dinners, which means introductions with 6 women. So, I signed up for it. After saying yes, she said my timing is good. End of year = New Years Resolutions, and big uptick in clients. Getting in 2 weeks before that round of new clients, means as she is screening new female clients, I will be on her mind. As for all the new guys signing up, she says the volume is a bit high, so it's more about processing them at first, and takes a little longer to get them in the system, or some such. Eh. We shall see. I really hope it's not a scam. And hopefully, at least get a nibble. Maybe more.

Thrive to spite them

Ginger I'm glad your blood work is doing well. I've been thinking about you a lot.

I also hope your counselor can come up with a medication that will help but won't interfere with the medication.

So, the Saphris is still yucky but is either getting less yucky or I'm just getting used to it.
