Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I am doing better. In fact I got up at 6 Am today, and have been puttering around.

I may go back to bed, soon, tho...zzz

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

For me, at least, thinking I'm going to do something nonstop leads to doing nothing at all.

I need to be productive today, but I think I need the cattle-prod method.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Two of five crew members have texted in sick.

man, there's crazy bugs running around New Orleans now. I'm sure it's annoying and tough on your work plan, but unsurprising.

I am in Scotland! It is fucking cold and also foggy. However, beer has been flowing copiously, and we've been doing pretty good with lodging, meals, and travel so far. Had the meetings with the funeral home and the minister performing the ceremony this morning, which was of course tough for Tom but he got through it great- some tears, which I actually count as a win for him. We have a meeting with his mother's lawyer tomorrow morning.

But we had a great time in Edinburgh (although, no lie, except for a strict one hour nap between hotel checkin and dinner, I did not sleep at all for 30 hours- why can't I sleep on redeyes?) although we were of course pretty weary from the long trip. But we wandered around the Royal Mile and popped in to eat and drink at a few places. The hotel we stayed at was in the Old Town, near Grassmarket, so close to some of my favorite places. Sadly, we did not have the ability to go to the whisky bar (I think we would have passed out immediately.)

Drove over the Firth of Forth to Fife today. Got to St. Andrews after our meetings in Cupar, at lunch at a local indian place, checked into the hotel, and Tom is currently snoring away.

We got separate twin beds for most of our stays this week- the alternative was a double and I just don't think we would comfortably fit and sleep in that size bed. Although maybe we can move these beds next to each other...

I'm trying to get Tom to enjoy this trip but I think he feels guilty about doing so. Poor petal.

Also, smonster deserves several gold stars for gettin us to the airport on time the other day! Or clock is too smart for its own good and reset for DST a day early. So, we were running behind. YAY SMONSTER!!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The antibiotics seem to be working for me. I can actually speak several sentences in a row without coughing, and my officemate said that my color looked much better.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

psst, Nora give Tom a hug for me. But you don't have to tell him it's from me.

The boys are doing fine. They crack me up.

Hil, glad you are starting to feel better.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Hil and Daniel, glad you both are feeling better.

::prods Ginger::

From way back when I was sleeping, Allyson, I hope you can get through your writer's block. (Oh wait that was the other thread, right? Oops. I'm on my FOURTH cup of coffee today. SO. TIRED.)

smonster, I sent you something this morning that made ME feel better. I think it ought to do the same for you.

Nora, I could never sleep on redeyes or long flights until this trip to France, when I found my perfect recipe:

1 beer before I got on the plane
1 Xanax
1 Lorazepam
2 airplane bottles of wine on the plane
eye mask
neck pillow
noise canceling headphones/ipod

I slept like a baby both ways and had almost no jet lag!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

1 beer before I got on the plane
1 Xanax
1 Lorazepam
2 airplane bottles of wine on the plane
eye mask
neck pillow
noise canceling headphones/ipod

The noise cancelling headphones we bought for our last trip really made a difference in helping both TCG and I sleep on the plane. That, and benadryl for me.
