Sorry to hear so many having blah days. I will share (2), count them TWO good things that happened today to me.

1)
Like many, my tub clear safety mat can get nasty underneath. Mine has the added joy, in that the tub isn't in great shape, so we painted it with applaince paint, in hopes to have a cheap "resurface", alas, didn't work. So, it's peeley and ugly, and not scrubbable. That said, today, a chunk of soap from the end of the bar fell down the drain. No biggie. It's soap, it will dissolve. Well, it was big enough to slow down the drain. D'oh. As I was getting out of the shower, I couldn't help but notice the pool of water. And I had the quick, brilliant idea... poor some bleech in the tub. When I got home, the tub was nicely drained, and about 85% cleaner! Without lifting a scrub brush. Sweet! Not bad for a morning where I overslept and was super groggy.

2)
Went food shopping after work. Fresh & Easy chain is a self-check out type of store. As I was scanning my rewards card, the gal in the next lane asked if I had any coupons. F&E doesn't take product coupons. they have printable coupons that are generic for every $x you spend, you get $y off the bill. Most times it's a one use per checkout. Every once in awhile, they let ya hit it for multiple pings. When I said I didn't have a coupon, she handed me one with $5 off for every $25 spent. And it was a reusable one! I had $90 of groceries. $15 bucks off! Plus, a lot of the stuff I got today was 10% off (which is what increased the number of things I purchased). So, great shopping trip. Love when strangers are helpful! I left the coupon on the scanner for the next patron.

Burrell... Are they expired?

By about 6 months, yeah. Oh well. I R dork!

I woke at 4 am this morning all stressed out. I can't believe I'm still awake.

I would say I can't believe it either but then it occurred o me to look at the time stamp and realize you wrote that two hours ago.

I am wide awake, after a lovely date with the girl. So far so good. Fun was had.

Yay for helpful strangers!

So the Abilify is doing something, I take it in the morning and I've been sleeping better. Getting tired at night, but not during the day, falling asleep faster, getting up feeling refreshed.

Last night I took my meds around 10 ish. Was asleep before midnight, started waking up around 7:30. Then got out of bed, tidied for a few minutes and now I'm eating breakfast and catching up.

That's great.

Yeah and then I started vacuuming and it was clogged and I can't unclog it for some reason and then I realized it was 8:30 am and probably not the best time to vacuum since they can hear it upstairs.

I'm glad the Abilify is working for you, askye. It's so important to get good sleep. I get good sleep, I just haven't been able to get to bed on time lately. I started taking my morning med (Lamictal) with my evening med (Clonazepam), because I was forgetting to take the morning med, but now the Clonazepam isn't making me as sleepy as it used to and I'm having a hard time convincing myself to get to bed at a reasonable time. So, back to taking the morning med in the morning again.

Oh, Strix. That's a day to make one scream with frustration. I hope today is better, and that D gets better soon.

sj, your thing about preferring SoA to Xmas stuff made me bark with laughter. I'm with you, kind of alternating between YAY and OH GOD OH GOD MAKE IT STOP.

askye, fingers crossed that Abilify keeps working for you! It made me kind of hypo manic and yet weirdly sleepy in the day; sleepy enough that I would doze off at my computer and in one-on-one meetings with my boss.

omnis, yay for clean tub and cheap groceries. That's pretty great.

It's a beautiful day here, sunny and warm. D and I are going to the farmer's market and grocery store, and then he's going to do some work while I get my cleaning and crafting on.

there's no way I'll be able to pack for a week with just two carry-on bags

A breeze for me to manage it with one carry on. My friend who needs one bag for just shoes is appalled at my light packing habits. Not wearing makeup, wearing light as possible clothing, and being cool with wearing the same shoes for a week makes this easy peasy. I even include a bathing suit and work out stuff.

Also love Vegas. Need to go there again. It has been too long.

Em! 8! Wow, it just doesn't seem possible. She is such a wonderful mix of her parents. Lucky world to have such excellent Buffista sprog.

My mom says that time is like toilet paper, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes. Time has been seriously flying by for me lately. My baby is 21 next month.
