Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Finished the conference, which was good but exhausting. Stopped at B Dubs on the way home. Got food poisoning; the SO far worse than me. Woes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Seriously, people, HOW CUTE IS HE?

The answer is six. He is six cutes.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Having a bad, bad, bad day. Got no nerves left for this war, and now I just found that almost all of the guys who study with me were called in. A friend of one of them told about her neighbor, that her five sons were called in. (They're Druze, btw).

So much violence. So much unnecessary violence. I'm trying to be tolerant to others as much as I can, but I'm on a very short fuze today. And yet, I didn't kill a classmate that said that getting an Iron Dome to the center of Israel outraged her. Right. Because 3 million people without proper shelters aren't worthy of protection, just because one million in the south suffer more. I'm so happy she's not a decision maker.

My task for today is trying to get along with her and talk. She's a pain in the ass most days, but we have the same schedule, so angry looks and hoping for a mute button for her won't work in the long term.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah, bad day seems kind of an understatement.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Safety and peace (in all its forms) to you and yours, Shir.

The status is NOT quo.

Bonny, I wish you lived locally so I could hire you to work with Kaylee. She's gotten so toy possessive and is very territorial. I'm working with her on it, but I know you would make it so much easier.

Erica: appeal-ma

Shir, stay safe.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Shir, calm~ma and safety~ma for you.

Anne, calm~ma to you. I hope it isn't as bad as you're anticipating it to be.

erika, tons of appeal~ma.

I just bought tickets to see Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman, as well as a local author I am unfamiliar with tomorrow night! Neil Gaiman is going to be reading from his new book that isn't coming out until June! I may just be a little bit excited.
