Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I skated and am now at work. Then home to clean house and afterwards off to see my lover Daniel Craig kick some 007 ass.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ahahaha, Raq.

Because, man, I feel him. (Um!)

Heh.

My freaking wrist STILL hurts and I have to baby it, and it's been almost 6 months. And I'm DOING all my exercises!

Eek. I am not telling him that. Maybe. He thinks he's going to be GTG by February or so, and I am highly doubtful. I figure I'll let the doc tell him.

Thrive to spite them

I went for a walk since it's a beautiful warm day.

I dropped back to my original dose of medication and I'm more clear headed but not getting as much done. I don't understand.

Raq, where are you headed again? My friends here are off to Norway in a couple of weeks for a three year posting.

askye, maybe the perfect dose is somewhere in between? :)

Ooh, Norway is an awesome posting.

I just downloaded some books from the library. Finishing watching Glee.

move out and draw fire

Ooo, Norway.

I am heading to Caracas, Venezuela, for two years or until we get evacuated.

Fun facts: a resident of Caracas is 10 times more likely to be killed than a resident of Baghdad. 60% of the city is off-limits to us at all times, another 30% is off-limits after dark, and the remaining 10% is where 50% of the murders and kidnappings take place.

So it's basically 2 years of house arrest.

Our wings are not tired

I'm in tech. I know you are all shocked.

Thrive to spite them

meara, I'm really not that upset. The next step is either adding a new medication or going off Seroquel and trying something new. And I'm ready to do that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been organizing some genealogy files, doing laundry, and cooking. I've got some Cincinnati chili cooking now.

Oh, and I think my neurons have gotten totally confused -- soap smells like cilantro now. I smelled some soap, and thought, "Oh, that's kind of interesting, they made cilantro-scented soap," and then I realized that it was just soap-scented soap. But cilantro itself still tastes good to me.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, Raq, Caracas is a wild place, definitely more dangerous now, but it's also a wonderful place, with some fantastic people.
