sj, we love Haba brand toys, especially the wooden ones [link] They aren't cheap, but Amazon carries them so you may save a few bucks that way. We have this one and Shane loved it: [link] All the little pieces turn and it's just adorable and really well-made. I'm sure they have a girly version.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Glamcookie, those toys look great. I'm browsing them now.
Oh, we love Haba toys too! There is fabric flower and a wooden triangle thing that all three kids have loved. I also have a cool, wooden, baby version of a rainstick that Sammy loves. Not sure where to find that, though, as i got it on zulilly.
Closet update. It has been cancelled. They could not do the panel doors with that large of an opening. So much for a custom shop. Very disappointed, and very frustrated.
I'm sorry, omnis. Was there another company you originally looked at?
Ikea. But the two wardrobes were about 11 inches smaller than the closet opening, and an inch or two shorter. So, not ideal. Not sure where else to look. Need to get better at my home shopping skills. Ah, hell, my shopping skills in general.
I'm sorry, omnis. I do think it is worth the effort to get what you want though.
Omnis, I am wondering if it might make sense to hire a TaskRabbiter to help you. You can even hire one just to do the research on what is available for your needs.
Oh totally. It's just the big hurddle from me saying "It's a home" and being all unpacked. Web search found a place in Torrence over by the airport. Let's see if they will come out and do an estimate.
Speaking of shopping, the Trader Joe's that's been "opening soon" for the past two and a half years has finally actually opened here. So much yay.
Also, my aunt got me Animaniacs DVDs for my birthday. Fun!
