Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I should really note the date on the ibu too. I was at CostCo and they bundle two bottles of 500 together and I bought two bundles. Sadly, I know I'll use them.

Does Benedryl even make you sleepy any more? Because it doesn't make me sleepy any more. Not even taking 2.

Nope, not a bit. I don't really ever remember it making me sleepy. I would rue it but there were a lot of years where it was the only allergy med that helped me. So it's good I could take it.

My dilemma -- not *dilemma,* I guess; more of a pondering -- from last week of "why do I have a 5-week-old sore throat? could it be allergies?" was tested with claritin last week, which sucked balls. I started zyrtec Monday and my throat is almost totally fine now. Take THAT, allergies!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

If Benedryl made me sleepy, I would have been unconscious for most of my life.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Well, now I'm stressed about using the phrases "first world problems" or "diamond shoes".

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Which, ironically, is a first world problem.

Our wings are not tired.

Dana, keep using them!!! Seriously. People can state preferences but it's not meant to be policing. If everyone thought the same and felt the same about every dang thing, the world would be such an incredibly boring place.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Sudafed (original) wakes me up.

I took 3 PE once. Nothing.

IO9 is asking if a vampire could be beamed into a house where he's not been invited.

Hmmm...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This is interesting. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition this week is building a house for a family where the father came home from Iraq with PTSD, and their house is right near some train tracks and a quarry that trigger him so much that he can't live there, so they're building them a new quiet peaceful house on some other piece of land. Practically every time I've watched an old episode of this show and then googled the family, though, I've found articles about how the house was falling apart or things didn't work right or the new house ended up creating a bunch of new stress, which seems like the worst thing for someone with PTSD.
