Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi, I'm back. Love all the pics of Halloween cuties!

I went out to Frenchmen St. with D last night for costume ogling, no trick or treaters for me. D wore a dress shirt, tie, vest, suit jacket and fedora; and VERY SHORT rugby shorts, tube socks, and converse. He told people he was business above, party below, but I think Business Casual is funnier. The best part is that friends would walk up on the crowded street and talk to him for minutes at a time before glancing down. I laughed all night long.

Favorite costume seen - Jesus on a dinosaur. Tons of superheroes of various ages, genders, races, and level of costume difficulty. One Bane. Spotted an Eleventh Doctor and hollered "Fezzes are cool" at him. One "binders of women." A pair of drag Effie Trinkets. A Saints Boba Fett "Bounty Hunter" (pic on fb). Etc, etc. We packed it in earlyish, due to the week night

I reused my "Wonder Woman on a day off costume." easy, comfy, and unique, if not dramatic.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

The pics are adorable. Looks like we had 2 dinosaurs from the board. And the cutest pirate! I want to see pics of the nun costume. Just saying.

Me? It seems I passed out, shortly after posting. I'm guessing around 8pm. Holy cow that is early for me! Half awoke at 9, thought it was 9am and started to panic, then checked my phone and it said 20:58, and said cool, and fell back asleep. Woke at 2am, stumbled to bed. Slept thru a bunch of alarms, and woke about 8am. Thankfully my first meeting was at 11am, so not late for anything. Dear jeebus, my body was tired, or something.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I did nothing for Halloween! I suck at this holiday. It's OK though

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

You didn't ask him to say it, you just asked if he could!

Exactly! Since he answered the question I asked, he earned his goodies.

ION, I had to submit a help ticket this morning because I'm not allowed to install a plug-in I need to download a spec I requested. I just looked at the ticket, and it said I'm requesting "admin rites", so now I'm picturing robes and an athame, maybe a blood sacrifice just to get me access to the specification. Makes the whole process much more amusing than previously.

Compassionately intolerant

"I thought I wasn't supposed to talk to strangers and eat lots of candy! And I guess it's okay when YOU draw with marker all over my face, huh?"

Precisely!

Read privs are so much less dramatic than write privs.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just had to give my password to IT - which is currently Jackass with some numbers attached. I was in a mood the last time password changey time came around.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just found out that my cousin C who gave birth on the 28th had to be evacuated from her hospital in the middle of the night because of Sandy, and now they are stuck staying in hotel with their newborn baby girl because their home is without power or heat. Any ~ma that can be spared that they get to go home with their little girl soon, would be much appreciated.

Our wings are not tired.

I am just heartsick over all the victims of the storm. Part of me thinks I can empathize with hurricane victims, but it is hot outside when we get hit, not freezing cold. Of course loss of life and property sucks equally no matter what the temperature.

LOVE the pictures of the cutiehead trick or treaters. I have to figure a way to share the picture of my great nieces. One of the mom freaks out if her child has a picture ever on the internet.
