Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

At 41, I'm still waiting for grey/white/silver. I think my brother (who is 5 years younger, mind you) got it all.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I got my first grey hair at 13. Later, I started getting one big dramatic streak of white (in my dark brown hair) back from my forehead. After having a stroke, my hair went mostly salt and pepper. To celebrate surviving, for my following birthday I went bright red ... and immediately looked about 10 years younger. Now it's a nice dark auburn and I'm loving it.

Our wings are not tired.

Exactly, sumi. My sister and brother with the dark locks have lots of silver now. My blonde sister and I just got darker.

I found my first gray hair in high school. My gray is still pretty scattered around my head. I've been lax about dying it lately.

Compassionately intolerant

My first grey hair was discovered at 26, in a gas station loo in Denver, while walking across America. The March was so stressful, I was not surprised.

Thankfully, my grey has come in so well, when I henna it, it looks like expensive highlights.

All my greys are bright red!

When I was dyeing my hair red, all of my grays were bright pink, which was fun.

The bright pink is what finally turned me to going blonde streaks. With the salt and pepper (mostly salt) and three shades of blonde foils, I'm pretty happy with my hair color. I'm not sure what it's going to look like the next time I get it colored, though, as it is so short right now I won't be able to do foils.

Huh. I just have some silvers and so far, it's taken the same color as the rest of the hair.

Where Mom lives had a lot of damage. They're still without power and a lot of the restaurants in the area are closed due to flooding, etc.
