Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

He has power, and he said the wind is just now really getting crazy strong.

That's really useful! He's on the border of orange and green.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Our power just went out.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Take care of yourself, Cass, and those spoons.

Speaking of, I made bad choices today. I skipped lunch at work in favor of observing someone teach since I needed to do that anyway and today was a good day for her. Then decided to host double play dates for the kids, hoping to get a bit of lunch in. No luck although I did eat a small snack and I'll make an early dinner. And then Isaac decided to act up for a bit, but he's finally settled down into the play date.

Looks like 1 outage just happened around here. But this is just supposed to be the beginning the high wind watch lasts until 11 am tomorrow.

I opened the window and Penny can hear (Adn I guess see even though it's dark) leaves rustling and she keeps trying to run into the bedroom to find them. She wants those leaves.

How long should things be good in the fridge and freezer if we don't open them?

So Penny was trying to get up in the window by the computer and going crazy, I thought it was over leaves and opened it - the female tabby cat from next door was up on the gas meters.

I thought Penny was going to lunge through the screen. Luckily the cat jumped down. But Penny is on HIGH ALERT!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

For those who love hats - the Sunday Washington Post arts section had a long story, lavishly illustrated, about the milliner for Arena Stage. Photos of hats for Anna Christie, The Women, The Importance of Being Ernest, and a costume sketch for My Fair Lady. I've started wearing hats - to keep my hair color from fading - so I now pay attention to such things.
