Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Hey smonster, do you know if/when you're going to be on Treme?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Right, Burrell? There definitely were some issues: the host was cranky because things ran behind. I could have kept them on time, but I never got a schedule with times, so I didn't. But it was fine, and the kids never noticed any issues.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

If I'm in Treme, it will be in the Mardi Gras day episode. Has that aired yet? I haven't seen any of s2, much less s3.

I can describe the scenes and what I'm wearing when I have a bit more time. Speaking of, I tried AGAIN to spot Aims in Hush and failed AGAIN.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

BTW, I have Treme season 2 on Amazon, for future reference.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Hola, Bitches! I skipped 1600 posts to see how people are weathering the storm. DC's closed down - not even any transit so I'm restricted to walking distance. I have heat, electricity, hot water - and not likely to lose any of these - although my internet connection goes out at times. The office is closed, so I'm home "sheltering in place" as they like to call it.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

smonster, that's awesome. I love Treme.

Compassionately intolerant

Holla Toddson!

I made a big pot of stone soup, so the house smells yummy.

While cooking, I looked out the window to see a couple friends 'out for a stroll'. He's Canadian and she is from Maine. Unfazed. They tussled with Cagney and made me laugh...but I hope they didn't stay out long.

Cagney is alternating crazy-zoomy energy, running around the place and collapsing into a snoozy puddle.

I think we are going to take a nap.

(One friend noticed that my gutters are clogged. The landlord never thinks of such things. I hope that doesn't present any problems!)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Lots of rain, a little wind, nothing exciting so far. NJ main office is closed, boss expects me to work anyway. I warned her I was expecting to lose power... which is true. She doesn't have to know exactly WHEN I lost power, does she? I want a nap.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Been raining all day in Northern Virginia. Wind has been picking up and is getting really nasty.

Hubs and I went to the chiropractor early, then a bite of lunch and to the grocery store to pick up cookies and popcorn. Hubs is sleeping on the couch, and I'm watching TV. I've needed this quiet day.
