food advice. I have the following ingredients I'm thinking of using in beef soup (in addition to beef). potato, cabbage, onion, celery, carrots, beets. Except my instinct is saying beets or celery but not both. Thoughts?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Have a good time, Aims! So glad y'all got in touch.
Hi, Shir! Good luck with that.
Stayed up too late for no good reason. Just want to go back to bed. Bleegh. But I think I've finally decided on a Halloween costume - Black Widow in street clothes, specifically the helicarrier outfit. I already have everything (including the wig) except the leg holster and a fake gun. It's not my favorite costume plan ever, but it's easy and comfortable and less obscure than many another costume I've worn. Plus, got a couple of long term costumes for Mardi Gras and such from Take Back Halloween. I want to pull together Persephone and Athena.
DUDE. We keep repeating costumes! I'm thinking of going as Black Widow this year!!! (If I actually go to a Halloween party, that is...)
Typo, I vote celery. Really.

Guess who Matilda is going as for Halloween.
Franny on the other hand is going as a grilled cheese sandwich.
Hivemind! It's time for crazy haircolor! Blue with some fuchsia bits? Fuschia with some blue bits? Purple with some blue and fuschia bits?
hec, I bet Matilda's BW boots won't be as high-heeled as mine! (They are SERIOUSLY not crime-fighting boots, but eh, it's HAlloween.)
Purple with fuschia and blue, amych. (Which reminds me: stop by Sally's this week to get redredred dye.)
Also, bonny, serious -ma your way for your friend Niki.
All kinds of ~ma for Niki and for Frank and his family.
The places I had the spots removed from (on my leg and arm) now hurt and bleed a bit. Left work a bit early so mom will check it but also because dealing with it takes energy. Yesterday it didn't hurt at all, so I'm puzzled. Maybe I just need to take things easy and rest to heal.
I've done some dishes. I have a chicken in the crock pot. I called the vet and they have the results but I have to wait for the actual vet to call me back.
In the meantime I was petting Dean and he jumped off my lap and went into a corner. Last night he ate, he used the litterbox, he slept right next to me. Maybe he's just too far gone and I waited too long to take him to the vet.
