I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

omnis, that's a great photo, and you looked like an excellent model!

Thrive to spite them

omnis that's cool you are going to be in a gallery.

So, no test results back on Dean. Won't be until tomorrow. He hasn't eaten and hasn't had much water, hasn't used the litterbox. Threw up after I gave him the pepcid.

I called the vet (for results) and they said I could bring him back in for another round of saline, an injection of the pepcid drug, and another injection that might help settle his stomach and keep him from throwing up.

All that might help him, but it might not and they won't know what's going on until the blood work.

I'm not going to take him back in 1) because I don't want to subject him to injections that might help and might not and 2) I can't afford it. Based on yesterday's vet bill that would be at least another $100.

I hate it coming down to money but if they could say "yes this would work" I'd take Dean in but they can't even say if it would make him better.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Have you tried chicken broth, askye? Sometimes a cat will drink more of that than water, plus he'll get some salt.

Well chicken usually upsets his stomach. I ran to the grocery store and bought some kitten formula which he lapped up like crazy.

And I also found some canned catfood with seafood but no wheat or chicken. I'm going to see how he holds down the formula and then later tonight give him some of the wet food.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Heh, Sumi. Sometimes when I criticize stuff like Project Runway, I forget how goofy actual fashion fashion can be.

Good luck with Dean, askye, I know it's heartbreaking for you.

I think it's a great shot, omnis.

askye, sounds like you're doing the best thing for Dean right now. Fingers crossed for the test results.

I'm worried the vet is going to say he needs more tests or expensive treatment, neither of which I can really afford. Which makes me feel lousy.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

~ma, askye.

That's exciting, omnis!

Spoke too soon on the being better thing. Definitely pushed it too far with my mini-stress eating during the debate last night. ::sigh::

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Smonster}}} I'm sorry. Go easy on your poor stomach for a little longer.

{{{askye}}} I hope you get some good answers from the Vet tomorrow and you don't have to spend any more money to get answers.

I am exhausted. Neither TCG nor I are bouncing back from this cold at all. We're not coughing or sneezing any more, but we have no energy. I just got back from doing some errands, and I'm completely wiped out.

ION, any good recs for baby boy clothes? Something different from the norm. I went to go buy my friends baby an outfit today and didn't find anything I liked. I thought there would be some cute piratey stuff out there it being so close to Halloween, but no such luck.
