[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If I buy Brie this week I'm blaming it on y'all. My absolute fave is the Fromager d'Affinois Triple Crème. Soooo good. But I'll probably just go for what the Fresh Market has on sale.

I have brie at home. I bought it for salad-related purposes.

I will take the blame (and the brie.) I also need chevre, feta and lemon curd. And I have grated frozen zucchini out thawing RIGHT now. And I need to get a rosemary plant to replace the one that the Orb deep-fried this summer...TJ's run, methinks.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ooh, that is good cheese, Burrell!

iwillnotgotobettercheddariwillnotgotobettercheddaritsonly3minutesawayiwillnotgotobetter -- OOH, HONEYED CHEVRE! Drunken Sheep! Italian Pecorino with Truffles! SAMPLES OF EVERYTHING! Pate with Truffles and port!

NO.

(lemoncurd!)

NO. NONONONO.

(but it's right by the bakery with teeny creme brulees and the meyer lemon bars...)

Heh. I moved from having one Better Cheddar a block away from my apartment...to having another a 3 minutes drive from my house. (I made many a "meal" from their samples...)

They also have, well, almost anything gourmet you could like, but I haven't had their habenero and lime pistachios for a while either...

They slice off wodges of the cheeses and pates from great logs of it; you can say (if, say, you're poor)"Give me $5 of the truffle cheese and $5 of the pate with truffles" and NOM! Easy dinner!

And that truffle pecorino grated over pasta with some of their kalamata olive tapenade...

I am not hungry! I had chicken and a brownie and some chai with Bailey's! Why am I torturing myself? I don't even GET PMS anymore.

I think it's the deprivation from the cold from hell. (Suuure, that's it...)

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I managed to do it all today. Work (attended symposium, it was only a half day thing today). Social (saw Looper with neighbor), and was productive (unpacked 4 or so boxes). Books look so much better on shelves. Empty shelves are kinda depressing. I have about half my books unpacked. They are roughly sorted into: Fiction, Non-Fiction, books I want to read (either haven't yet, or want to again). The last category will go on the shelves in the bedroom. But I need to re-install the actual shelves into the unit first. The other two categories are segregated on different book shelf units. Hopefully, those shelves will not over flow, until I have cleared the boxes in front of the next shelving unit. Woot for progress!!!

Now I must sleep. For tomorrow, I need to be at work early (well, early for me. 9am instead of 10:30).
