Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This is par for the course around here, and it generally doesn't make me lose my mind, so I'm not sure why now, all of a sudden, I'm ready to just rip his pancreas out with my teeth.

Sometimes you just want to rip their pancreas out. It's no one's fault. Just you run out of Cope or Patience.

If you show me a fighter jet zooming and then someone voiceover's "Yeehaw!" I am going to respond with, "Jester's dead." It's just how the world works.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am also Tim, but without the costume.

Speaking of, I need to figure out a Halloween costume. I was all psyched to be Edfie Trinket, but now I'm not so sure. I haven't really had the energy to pursue it fully.

I am festin'. Had a yummy brisket slider (my stomach seems to have shrunk) and am listening to Keb Mo play.

Because books.

I LOVE Keb Mo. I have one of his albums from years ago, recced by one of my authors.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm drinking a hot toddy. I put up sliced lemon, chopped ginger, and honey a month or so ago, and tonight I mixed it with hot water and Jack Daniels. it is delicious and feels wonderful on the throat.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I've never had a hot toddy. Maybe I should fix that. I have come down with a nasty cold.

They're almost worth getting sick for. I hope you feel better soon, though. Whatever you end up drinking.

Thrive to spite them

Steph it's not just you. Will and I met at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and to watch FSU play. He left at half time and I stayed and had a Pumpkin Cider. It was not very pumpkin-y and I was disappointed.

Especially since the Shipyard Ale I tried tasted exactly like liquid pumpkin pie. Which was kinda weird but also good (until the beer flavor kicked in).

I was also sad that the pumpkin cider was not moreso.

I am at my gay dance convention, taking a break between the women's social and the Saturday night dance.
