Don't drink it all at once, or it can upset your stomach.
Wuh oh. Just ate a Fage and drank half a kombucha. And ate a Luna bar. Feeling okay so far...
No, half is probably fine. Is it GT kombucha? I'd drink the other half tomorrow.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Okay, it's not actually kombucha I guess? It's KeVita, a "delicious sparkling probiotic superdrink."

That sounds like it should give you the power of flight or something. KeVita! Whoooooosh!
Inorite?
I am eating cheesy broccoli mashed potatoes. It's going okay so far. The whole nausea thing is definitely worse in the morning, so I can't celebrate yet.
We had dinner out with my in-laws tonight. Dinner was yummy (fish with a side of lobster ravioli) and politics were not discussed. I'm putting today in the win column.
I love lobster ravioli! Yum.
Nausea is back. Taking to bed again with crystallized ginger and a book. Grump.

At Bacco's in the Quarter, you can get lobster ravioli with a butter champagne sauce and a dollop of caviar. And if you go at lunchtime you can get fifty cent martinis. Or at least you could. Is Bacco's still there? Sometimes the faded rose has desperate deals.

That what I had for dinner last night!

Dinner win!
Bacco's is no longer in service. It's now a different Brennan restaurant called SoBou. (South of Bourbon, except not really.)
Speaking of the Brennans, we had our anniversary dinner at Commander's Palace and it was AWESOME. We had the chef's tasting menu. And after dinner, we met the chef (Tory McPhail) and got a tour of the patio at the restaurant as well as the garden of the Brennan grand dames who live next door to the restaurant. The grand dames were eating at the table next to us at dinner. We noticed the chef coming out several times to chat, and thought, "oh, they must be friends of the family" but really they WERE the family.
