Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unfortunately winter is when the Jillifonts say "time to move indoors, those nice Neils have lovely long term lodgings." We don't spray because of the cats and wonky lungs. Plus the Jillifonts eat the other things.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm very much hoping for the opposite result in a few days.

Fingers firmly crossed, sj!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I felt so betrayed when I realized cockroaches could fly.

I felt so betrayed when I learnt some (small) ones didn't. The Jamaican ones that don't fly are probably too heavy and well-armoured for that sort of aerial bullshit frippery. Ten hut!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

didn't know the sizing on the chicstar site . not how I usually buy clothes.

I'm doing a little nightshift to night - I want to stay up a bit later and see if I sleep better. and I seem to have a disagreement with the key board.

I'm on nightshift! Making a baked egg thing for future breakfasts and eating an entire "Tarte d'Alsace" from Trader Joe's (the whole thing is only 560 calories...and delicious...)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Baseball is over. A's won. They play for the division tomorrow. Once again, working from home has added advantage as I can watch the day game as I work. Woot.

But for now, I need to sleep. Good night all.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I should go to sleep--my flight is at 6AM, which means leaving the house at 4:30AM. But there's a cat asleep on my feet (and I'm on the couch, and all the lights are on, so I can't just sleep right here) and he is so nice and warm....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Trader Joe's here has a set opening date for next month! They've been "coming soon" for close to two years now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Trader Joe's!

meara, I hope you got some sleep.

Bah. My babysitting job tonight was canceled. I'm going out to dinner with G and his mom instead, which I'm sure will be great fun, but it is money going in the opposite direction I was hoping for today.
