Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh Nora, how fun!

I have concluded that I cannot afford to fly home for my friends's wedding in a month, which sucks geriatric monkey balls. My brother is going (R was his college roommate, then later mine). But I'm still climbing out of the Isaac subhole of the moving pit of the unemployment crevasse of the credit card debt chasm so... no. Let's not even talk about the Grand Canyon of Retirement Savings Fail.

Also, Bitches, I need reassurance. I am hella queasy again. I finished my meds a couple of days ago, took probiotics throughout, and have added on Greek yogurt. How long before this nausea probably isn't ABs anymore? I am a wee bit paranoid that I've managed to get preggers despite consistent condom and pill usage. White font for girly TMI: I should be on my period now, and I'm kind of spotting but it's also a little mucous-y. Am I totally wacko? Should I just POAS to settle my mind?

Dunno what POAS is, but ...can't hurt to double-check? Likely just illness/fatigue/body being hateful, but best to know ASAP if it's more than that, eh?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

smonster, when was your period due?

Pee On A Stick, meara.

sj, uh, yesterday. I know, I'm totally nuts. Part of it is that I dreamed (white font for disturbing) that I was having an abortion last week. I've been worried since then. I just don't remember having this kind of reaction to an AB before.

smonster, the ABs can definitely throw off your schedule. I would wait two more days before testing, just because your budget is so tight and those sticks are expensive.

sj, thanks. I may have an extra from another paranoid moment, but will hold off for a few more days.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's unlikely you are pregnant if you've been using two forms of BC consistently. I'm the kind to test because I'm paranoid like that, but I'd wait until I was a few days late just to ensure I got an accurate read.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Condo update. Flooring is complete!! Now I need to paint trim, then schedule the closet folks to install custom closet. Woot for progress.

Yay, omnis!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

smonster, I know that ABs made my cycle wildly inconsistent. The only thing that kept me from freaking out about possibly being pregnant was reminding myself that Pete was snipped.

So I say wait a few more days.
