Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Although maybe my favorite Justified moment was when Ava, who's known Raylan the Marshall since junior high, if not before, blows away her wife-beating husband with a shotgun, then tells Raylan what an awesome cleaner Lysol is.

While flirting with him hardcore!!

Also - I am *finally* over the AB nausea and hungry again, praise Ali Baba and the forty thieves. I'm celebrating by eating dill mashed potatoes with broccoli. My feet still itch, but I'll survive.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, totally...that was hot!ETA: Tep, I always have your back. Justified may have my favorite pilot since Homicide, at least in terms of defining the show like, wow,

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

This is true. I'm just trying to decline her request as politely as possible, so my instinct is to go with an explanation, rather than just an unmitigated refusal.

Just say "Sorry, no can do. Let us know if you want to grab a drink some time!"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

so my instinct is to go with an explanation,

Yeah, don't explain. That's why we have etiquette to handle asshole-ish behavior. Implied is better, and the implication is that she's a selfish user who's not responsible or reliable and not really your friend.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Found stupid cheap direct flight to San Francisco for this weekend ($320 including taxes and fees). Trying to convince Tom that it is a good idea for me to go. (fly in on Saturday, arrive at 6pm-ish, leave Monday at 4pm-ish)

I just SO WANT TO GO SO BAD. But I feel guilty re: money stuff and also Tom wouldn't be able to go (if money wasn't an issue, even.) I've just been daydreaming about San Francisco a lot lately, missing it like crazy. And after this month... blergh. NO MORE YEARNING!

t /general complaining and whining

Gotta go to bed.

It's particularly gorgeous right now.

Come to San Francisco...

We'll see. I don't see Tom going for this plan at all.

Though I shouldn't get greedy, since I get to see you in a little over a month.
