Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What kind is it?

I don't even know. I am still super excited. I'm just dorkily happy it'll be better than my eyes. Which is dumb. I wear glasses so most anything is better than my eyes. I'm happy when I can see Jupiter so clearly I don't wonder what I am looking at.

It's just Jupiter.

And awesome.

I'll actually tell you what the telescope is when I have it. And probably ask how to use it. I am guessing they bought something half good and forgot about it. Which is crazy because there are stars Right There. How amazing is that?

Compassionately intolerant

Just Jupiter? Jupiter is the bringer of jocularity...may favorite!

Now _that_ was a fun time. Mercy. How long ago was that?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have accepted an offer on the house and did not cuss out the realtor yet. If the offer falls through, I have found a backup realtor.

I will owe a bit of $$, but it is around the amount of money it is costing me to keep the house open and show ready each month.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Catching up.

Many congrats to the GlamFam on the tadpole edition. Do not fret about sharing rooms. When I was growing up, we moved from 3 bedroom into 2 bedroom, so I had to share a bedroom with my sister. During Middle School. It was a bit awkward at times. But we survived, and still love each other. If you still fret about it, think of it this way. Which is worse: sharing a room, or being stretched way too thin and can't eat or have toys or trips or school clothes or what not. Far better to realize BEFORE the big purchase and move that it's best to stay put, then after! You done good. Do not fret.

Cass, very jealous of the stars view and the telescope! When I used to go camping up at Joshua Tree, that was the thing I loved the most. You can reach out and touch the milky way... or, at least, it felt like you could. I'm wanting a telescope for my new place. Can't see all that many stars, but I can look out into the harbor and spy on ships coming and going... what? Don't look at me like that. So I'm a voyuer. It's a NYC thing, I swear... :: whistles innocently :: Anyhow, not buying one anytime soon. Far too many other things that need my cash that are practical. So, very jealous of yours.

SJ, too many books? Pfft. No such thing. A library is a wonderful thing. Just wait until the winter knocks out the power, and see who is knocking on your door to borrow a book.

As for unpacking. Since construction crew is in the reapply the stucco mode now, I thought it safe to start last night. I managed one tub from the kitchen, and hung my Grandpa's photo (team photo from 1934 Philly Eagles). I always try and make that the first I hang when I move, since Mom gave it to me. But after those two things, I was pooped. I was in bed by 10:30!!! Unheard of for me! I'm a 2am kinda guy. I was in bed so early, I couldn't see the moon yet. I thought for sure I'd get the moon show to fall asleep to. not so much. Crazy. Anyhow, tomorrow, I need to clear out the bedroom, in anticipation of the flooring guys finishing the flooring on Sunday. Then Sunday evening, move the furniture into the bedroom! Then, maybe, start unpacking the CD's and DVD's. I'd start with the books, alas, they are buried the deepest in the pile of boxes, and the pile of boxes are blocking the bulk of the bookshelves. Alas, those will be last.

OK, must get back to work.
