Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I am not on the razor's edge financially, but I WISH I could travel to Europe!

Me too! I don't know how she does it. Oh, wait, yes, I do - on credit cards. With ridiculously high credit limits for an unemployed person because her mom's name is on them too. Well, that's over. I'm glad I'm not sitting in on the discussion they're probably having right now.

P.C., that sucks. I'm sorry.

There are lots of reasons that this woman didn't think you were a good match that have nothing to do with you.

This, indeed. It ain't you.

askye, I think those short styles will be cute as hell on you! Go for it!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am pissed off. I had an appointment with the ENT scheduled for the first week of October. I realized that it was at the same time as my office hours, so I used the online messaging system to send a message to the office asking to reschedule. In the message, I said that I was in a lot of pain, and that if there was any way the doctor could see me any earlier than October, that would be great. They messaged back to say that the next available appointment was November 15. I wrote back saying that, if November 15 was the earliest they could reschedule me, then I'd just stick with my original appointment, and I'd find someone who could cover my office hours. They wrote back that they had already cancelled my original appointment time, and it wasn't available anymore.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My sister just texted me that things were "heavy" and she might end up cosigning a $20000 loan to pay off the girl's debts. We talked about this last night and agreed it was a very bad idea, for many reasons. Jesus, last night the girl was screeching that she never asked for any help. Now she's doubling down on getting $20000? Family or not, I think I'm about to be done. Guilting your already-generous mom into risking her credit by cosigning an enormous loan, because you don't want to get a job and pay off your own debts? Appalling.

To make it worse, we couldn't find the key to the van (probably left in sister's other car) so my sister took my car today, leaving me stuck at home and my little car in the hands of people screaming ragefully as they drive. Somehow the losing of the van key is probably my fault.

I just tried calling the ENT office directly. The receptionist said that they have no appointments, but that I should call my primary care doctor and get her to call the ENT and say that it's urgent, and then they might be able to get me in earlier.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That girl is not going to pay that back. I hope your sister doesn't get involved, but she should be clear that she is borrowing $20k.

Well, she cosigned the loan. And now she's spinning it to make it okay.

I'm buying us drinks and dinner. And drinks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Apparently the girl does have a workable business plan, and if she actually does the work and if the people who owe her pay her, the business will be in the black reasonably soon. (I know. I also smell a lotta if coming off this plan.)

They did cancel all but one credit card, which is good.

Maybe it'll work out. I just wish we could get to the thoughtful sharing of plans without the nuclear meltdown first.
