One of our staff retreats involved flying 3000 miles (and then an hour or so bus ride) for a 3 day stay. That was the good one.

EEEppp! OK, so the space shuttle is flying around LA tomorrow, before landing at LAX and making it's way through the streets of LA to it's new home. One of the fly over locations is The Queen Marry in Long Beach Harbor (3 miles due south from my new condo on the hill)! Another location is Disneyland, which is 13ish miles due east of my condo on the hill. Now, they are not posting the official route (as far as I know). But.. it looks like they are flying to SF first, thend own the coast.... so... I'm hoping they come down the coast, at Queen Mary, turn inland, fly past my place, and head to the happiest place on earth, then swing north again to head towards LAX. And hopefully I can see it real good!
